Vintage military melbourne fashion shoot – Love In a Time of War

Here is another fashion shoot I did for Fiend for the Mar – May 09 issue, and shot in Melbourne, both in the main park and back lanes of the city. I wanted a vintage wartime/military look but with an alternative twist, and titled it, “Love In a Time of War”.

The beautiful models are Holly & Ash, who many in the goth scene in Melbourne will know.  Without further ado…

  1. Thanks again Sydney!! One of my fave shoots was the one inspired by Japanese street fashion – remember that one? That's what got me going to Japan and kearning more about all the gothic brands. It had a guy in a tophat, girls in crazy colours and graffiti'd walls.

  2. I bet it's probably all of your shoots that I like from Fiend the best. Love this one!

  3. I MUST have the 50's skull dress!
Please tell me where I can buy it?

    Thanks

  4. Hi Ophelia – I decided I'd better put all the clothing credits in. It's from Raven Clothing, based in ACT Australia – they only wholesale now, but could poss do a special order? It was $200 AUD at the time of the shoot 🙂
