Tim Burton inspired outfit of the day; fashion from my travels

I’ve mentioned previously a few of my fashion and accessories purchases while travelling. A bit of a picture post is in order, I think, to show them off.

Some of my fave things from ‘i-socks’, the gothic lolita shop in KL at Berjaya Times Square, were striped fingerless gloves with skulls on them, a diamante studded skull necklace (complete with diamante studded bone), and a black and white bow tie with skull motifs.

I also mentioned the great striped jacket I got from Cue, when I was in Melbourne last friday. A black strapless dress with tulle layered skirt from Sung Wei plaza in KL formed the basis of this outfit, with the jacket and accessories lending the star appeal. The look was finished with a pair of white fishnet stockings, and the white and black platform shoes bought on my jaunt to Camden earlier in the year.

So here’s the result (I’m still struggling with the self-timer and keeping pics in focus with the timer, obviously!)

To bowtie, or not to bowtie; that is the question…
I decide to take the bowtie off.
I just love the shoulders on this jacket, and the overall sharp tailoring. No wonder it keeps selling out.

And now to work out what to wear to my work’s Christmas do tomorrow night….
