Sunday Links

Just so I provide something useful, and not just my random witterings, here are some cool links you might like to explore:

  • You can pre-order some fantastic new stylegroups from Lip Service Summer 2010 – Batz N Bones, 25 Years, and Erotomechanics (expected to ship around June 15)

  •  Meanwhile, over at Beserk Clothing, range # 7 “…til death” has been unleashed, and you can get the Skull Lust skirts – some for only $32!! There’s an awesome range of colours; guaranteed to go with something in your wardrobe. There are so many cool things in this store – check em out.

That oughta keep you drooling for a while.

Sneaker Sunday!

Ever ready to jump on board a new craze, and obviously with too much time on my hands on a Sunday afternoon, I am joining the gals who started Sneaker Sunday.

Valerie from Dweam came up with the idea, and Violet LeBeaux has followed suit, doing a fab creative blog post on her beautifully Deco’d sneakers. Each Sunday they will post something related to sneakers, post pics of their sneakers and share tips on co-ordinating them. They encourage us to do the same, and add our photos to the Sneaker Sunday gallery.

Why not join us? Also, if you have a Twitter account, use the hashtag #sneakersunday so we can all find each other’s posts.

Onto the sneakers. I have done nothing at all to mine, but since I have two AWESOME pairs of platform sneakers, I just had to share.

* Pink Sneakers with lower platform*
Hehe. Looks like I’m on the bike, no?

I bought them in Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur last year, & I wish I’d also got the pair in blue. They have silver thread running through them, for a touch of the luxe.
* Pink & silver SWEARS with AWESOME platform o’ DOOM!*

They’re the sort of shoes you wear to raves. Showy as all get out, but comfy 🙂  I actually bought these in a bargain shop in Bondi – it pays to snoop around. They must have ‘fallen off the back of a truck’ or something, but they’re the real deal! You can buy Swears at their online store, but they don’t make babies like this anymore.

The leggings I’m wearing in the above pics are Black Rats by Sass & Bide – and while you’re on the website, drool over their awesome latest collection. They do tribal luxe like no-one else. I previewed the collection back in Feb – see my faves from the Sass & Bide Winer/Fall collection here.

The Black Rats are my tip for the day: just cos you’re slothing about at home on a Sunday, doesn’t mean you can’t be super stylish as well as comfortable.
