I’ve been busy hitting the gigs and clubs and will do posts on these soon, but for now, here are some pics from my Sunday Harajuku visit.
Despite being a bit Harjuku’d out, I HAD to go and see the cosplayers on the bridge – and possibly the Elvises? Pity I left it a bit late in the afternoon, but there were still some fun people around. Like this sweet lolita.
Some of them like to put on a small show, strangling the tourists, hehe….
Others rested betweeen photo opportunities
Some westerners had come lolita’d up or in some cosplay costumes (as I did the first time I came, but can’t be bothered now!)
I also saw someone I knew from previous trips – Jim Mcgee, who was handing out flyers for his “Horror High School
” series. Go watch it; it’s funny
As someone who lives there, he knew the cosplayers and intro’d me round. I spent so much time chatting there, that just as I was leaving to catch the Elvises, they walked past, on their way home! DOH!
And now for a few more lolita types, cos you can never have too many…
She was actually being photographed, so I was cheeky and just piggy backed on there with my camera
And when it all gets a bit too much, there’s a place you can go…
